When asked on RTÉ’s Prime Time on Wednesday what the government will do about businesses that are not asking customers for their certificates, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said there will be an increase of enforcement.
No
Why would I care when I'm vaccinated? Sure the place could be stuffed with unvacinated staff anyway?
No
🤡😂🤡😂😂😂🥳🙈
A lot of people commenting obviously don’t trust what they’ve taken!!
Piss off the journal, deleted app a while back, flop
I think I'd walk out if they did ask me and just go somewhere else tbh. Have had my Covid cert since August and not one pub has asked me for it.
No
I'd be much more likely to keep coming back
or and similarly .... Would you leave your airplane / flight for your holydays destination if they didn't check your Covid cert on entry!? ABSOLUTELY!
No
Has anyone at all been contacted by tracers having left their contact number in a hospitality setting ?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'd get a crew together and aim for a lock in.
Yes
No
Y'all idiots realise you can still contract and spread the virus after being doubled jabbed? It doesn't even reduce the amount of viral load you carry around with you.. The passports are not for health and safety but some strange sort of control... Can't figure it out fully!
I have had no reason to consider exercising that option. I have been to many and all have been very professional about managing the certs.
Yes
No but I wouldn't stay long and I'd keep the mask and sanitiser very close.
No, I'd walk in
If someone with out a cert wasn’t allowed in I. Wouldn’t be there either
JRD0000 I'd walk out if I was asked to produce ,it's not a two tier society
It would be fine if I could even GET a Covid Cert, but because I got 1st vaccine in Ireland and 2nd whilst working in Spain, no one seems to be able to issue one..
JRD0000 Ye people should never leave the house
Absolutely
No, this is nonsense. If you are that worried about contracting Covid and are vaccinated I suggest you stay in your house, avoid crowded areas, poorly ventilated places, the rest of us need to try and live a normal life.
At best the vaccine works to reduce the severity of YOUR infection if you catch covid. Why should we care if unvaccinated ppl share the space? Vaccinated are just as likely to catch & spread it. More dystopian, divisive nonsense.
No I would be delighted.
Well yeah of course.
Remember Pfizer said last year, 95% efficacy against transmission! 😂 🤡
Why would u walk out , if ur so sure of the vax and u have it, what does it matter, such a stupid poll by a tabloid site.
I would walk out (as a matter of fact I have) if they asked to check it.
No
Nope. Definitely not, but them again, I’m not brainwashed by media 👌🏼
Yes
Yes.
Was told about a gym that has signs up stating remove masks before entering due to security risk
Nervous nellies should stay at home permanently until the danger they percieve to exists is eliminated in their closed minds.
No.r u nuts?
I’d walk in, stay and spend more money! As I’d feel I wasn’t living under a nazi esk EU Reich regime!!
Nope. They need the business.
No why would anyone walk out
No
No, then I gamer in.
😆😆
Nope, I couldn't give a shit I'm vaccinated so I'm protected
Why would it matter. If your vaccinated you are safe right? Right? Or are we still going along with the idea that your vaccine only works if someone else has it too?
Don't go out if ur afraid but don't ruin for everyone else curtain twitchers
No because it's steaming pile of horse manure the passport checks
Was distracted the other day on visiting a particular and popular northside gastro pub. Had ordered before I realised, no certs sought, and staff masks appeared to be almost optional. Under nose, under chin. Will NOT be returning until pandemic is well over.
Yes.
Here we go again, let's divide society and finger point, again
This is ridiculous. Pathetic really
Yes.
Yes I would walk out.
Wouldn't walk into a pub that sells its rip off pints 4 over a fiver when they buy it in for only 2 euro a pint
No I’d very very happy to sit with the unvaccinated, this is an utter disgrace
Vaccinated may then July 2nd only asked once to produce the cert, the whole self policing thing is a,bit of farce to be honest .
Yes.
Believe I am more 'dangerous' to non-vaxed than they are to me. I tested + last Feb. Willing to share virus with them
It shows an element of carelessness if a place doesn't scan certs. You stick to the places that give a damn about customers safety and scan them. Even Wetherspoons stuck to it this far in so no excuse not to.
Nope I'd be more likely to stay only ever got checked once
Yes have done
Restaurants don't check covid certs anymore.
I don't want to share space with an anti-vaxer in any situation. Leave them at it.
What we don’t know when walking into a hospitality venue is whether any or all of the staff, including backroom staff, have been vaccinated. CovidVaccine
The covid cert is a REWARD system for the moment*. It has absolutely no scientific merit in terms of reducing transmission. 👇
They deserve 10 times the trade of businesses who carry out the dirty work of the corporate oppressive government
You wouldn't have walked in in the first place if that was your feelings about it. I would say may I have a menu please
I think it would depend on other factors too, the application of other guidelines too.
Nope, Id be more than happy to dine at that establishment as they clearly dont support medical apartheid. Any other establishment that supports this can rot as far as im concerned!
