Penalty will result in lower airport charges for airport users in 2025

Aviation Dublin Airport fined €10.1m for failing to meet cleanliness and queue time targets

Dublin Airport has been fined €6.7 million for failure to meet targets on cleanliness, information on ground transport and security queue times. The Irish Aviation Authority confirmed on Thursday that the airport had earned a quality of service bonus of €3.4 million and incurred a penalty of €10.1 million, resulting in a net penalty of €6.7 million.

The IAA evaluates the performance of Dublin Airport based on 22 targets, with penalties imposed per passenger.
