Hong Kong holds the top spot in Mercer's latest survey, followed by Zurich in second place. Three other Swiss cities - Geneva, Basel and Bern - complete the top five world's most expensive locations for expats.
Today's survey also places Copenhagen in 11th place with London 15th. In the euro zone Vienna was placed 21st followed by Amsterdam , Munich , Paris and Brussels . But he added that despite the impact of socio-economic headwinds, Dublin remains an attractive location for expatriates overall.
