In a post on Twitter, gardaí said the Waterford Roads Policing Unit was carrying out speed checks, when a car was clocked at 112km/h in a 80km/h zone.However, as they drove away from the traffic stop, they were clocked at 101km/h and stopped again by gardaí.Drivers issued with a FCPN will receive three penalty points on their licence and a fixed fine of €80, which must be paid within 28 days, otherwise it will increase to €120.
