Covid-19 has been once again doing the rounds in Ireland, with cases on the rise since the end of May.
According to the HSE, the most common symptoms of Covid-19 are a dry cough, fatigue and a temperature over 38 degrees Celsius as well as having chills. As we move into summer, many people have been affected by hay fever, but symptoms of Covid-19 “can be like symptoms” of these allergies, colds or even the flu.
Less common symptoms that could indicate that you have Covid-19 include the usual loss of taste or smell, headache, nasal congestion and a sore throat. As well as that, dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting, skin rashes, conjunctivitis and muscle or joint pain are all symptoms of the virus.
