It compares to a figure of 496 last Thursday and 311 on this day two weeks ago.

The number of hospitalised cases reported on the Covid-19 Data Hub this morning did not include information from all hospitals, due to a technical fault.Meanwhile, the number of people with the virus in intensive care has fallen from 24 yesterday to 20 today.Yesterday, the Minister for Health expressed concern over the rise in Covid-19 cases. Stephen Donnelly urged people over the age of 65 and those who are immunosuppressed to avail of their second dose.

When are we going to accept that we need to have a 6 week circuit breaker lockdown? The workers are in severe danger from this new wave…

But with over 90% vaccinated who are you going to blame now? Effective and safe? My balls! Media that followed the government narrative for 2 years, worse this country has in journalism

LIES LIES LIES

Come on RTE, stop peddling ur nonsense, many r waking up2 this BS.The vx has now compromised people's immune systems & now those who got vx are getting SICK! All the vx free are fine & dandy if you'd do your job. Address the Pfizer documents while ur at it! pfizerdocuments

Dublin to Belfast train yesterday

Can't believe everything you read ! Got told last week 1 person was in ICU , 1 so 🤷 just can't believe

Pandemic of the vaccinated. Boy am i glad I'm clot shot free. I thank myself every morning for not been so fcuking stupid.

There are not 685 people in hospital due to covid. The media is back at its misinformation campaign again.

How many caught it in hospital

Less than 2 weeks since LeoVaradkar said it was a ‘blip’. Long-COVID numbers aren’t being counted, but this wave will leave thousands of people shocked when they realise how severe it is, find out they’re disabled & even more shocked to learn there’s no treatment in Ireland.

And yet everyone is doing well…

But they said the vaccines work ?

Lockdown on way

Only 20 in icu i thought that was the worry

MichealMartinTD LeoVaradkar response? None. Leo is not concerned. CMOIreland response? Reduce Covid testing & tracing? We are seriously fucked boys & girls. The people leading our country only care about themselves & their wealth.

14 000 hospital beds refused from 25000. Approx 350 icu beds currently reduced from approx 530 yet the hse want to close a ward in navan. No wonder the HSE is calling for pointless mandatory mask wearing. It's to cover up their failures

Mandate Masks NOW MichealMartinTD LeoVaradkar CMOIreland DonnellyStephen And WHY are you getting rid of all the Covid testers in Testing centres? In the middle of a surge! Was told by one today they're all being let go except for ONE next week! You are INSANE Donnelly!

We can't shut down again, who will house an unlimited number of Ukrainian and other refugees while we can't find a home or hotel then?

Stop testing

We NEED to URGE everyone to wear FFP2 masks & every public INDOOR building needs to be PROPERLY VENTILATED as COVID is AIRBORNE & vaccines alone DONT work, this has been proven now please REPORT THAT

I hope this will be reported the actual news at 6

Numbers dropped during the past 2 summer seasons. Wonder why this summer cases are on the rise. Strange...

Most people caught it in there. They’ll be fine.

At this point I honestly don’t think anyone cares

Caught in hospital. No biggie.

DonnellyStephen is so deeply concerned he’s not going to do anything about it. We can only ride our luck for so long. Why is that we think another booster is the answer after dropping all mitigation measures?

would this be down to increased testing ,resulting in Already admitted patients with other Ailments Turning up positive . good to have honest breakdowns as this gives a greater insight into spread and Stats.

Must be booster time again......

Fke news, fake PCR test, fake positives covid/flu.. Fake fake fake

WITH Covid. Not OF. So?

Covid is fucking rampart now in Ireland. Caught Covid for the second time (:
