Senior British government sources say technical discussions around 30 areas of disagreement with the European Union on the Northern Ireland Protocol have resulted in definite progress on just two of the issues

They say there are "about half a dozen" other areas where some progress towards a solution has been made.

The sources say that UK negotiators have submitted 10 papers covering a range of proposed solutions they believe would reduce impediments caused by the protocol for businesses in Northern Ireland, but claim the EU has been slow to engage. David Frost, the UK's lead negotiator on the protocol, was in Northern Ireland yesterday to meet business representatives and members of the CNR community.

"It's clear from the conversations I've had with business and community representatives here today that the way the protocol is operating is presenting very significant challenges," Mr Frost said afterwards. "We hope the commission and share that view of prioritisation, though if so they aren't always as clear about it as they could be."

I assume '2 issues' are ridiculous “rabid GB dogs' rule +controlling medicines. The fact that these needed to be discussed confirms the EU imbalanced approach If NI Protocol is to remain it should find ways of dealing with “real risk” to EU, not theoretical risk MarosSefcovic

Have they just put child abuse into the same category as equality in terms of punishable offences? There are no words. Pedo leader still protects pedos.....there I fixed your headline.
