People on the PUP have been pushed the pins of their collars financially for so long already. Many are struggling to keep on top of their bills and put food on the table for their families, writes ClaireKerrane

We are now well over a year after Covid-19 was first reported in Ireland and the impacts of the pandemic continue to be profound and long-lasting.

It is so important that we all follow public health advice and that no-one returns to work before it is safe to do so. This is how we can protect our families, our communities and fight this virus together. It should continue as it is until Autumn at least and then be reviewed to take into account public health restrictions at the time.
