Bryson DeChambeau showed his class by staying behind to sign autographs for fans in the car park despite his devastating PGA Championship loss at the weekend

Bryson DeChambeau stunned fans with a class act after his devastating PGA Championship defeat at the weekend.

As he left the podium on Sunday, the American put his agony aside and instead greeted a group of fans waiting for him in the car park. Few could've complained if he'd made a swift exit out of sight of the cameras, but DeChambeau showed a touch of a class by sticking around, even if it was only for a minute or so.

Earlier in the day, during a tension-filled final round, DeChambeau tossed his ball to a young fan at the side of the path while walking to the 10th hole. However, a man snatched the ball and tried to run away with it, reports the Express. The act earned praise from CBS commentator Jim Nantz, who affirmed: "That's class. DeChambeau comes over to give him a nod, a congratulatory handshake."
