The daughter of an elderly Galway woman missing for over a week has thanked the public for their support in searching for her mother as Gardaí and the public continue a search operation.
The 84-year-old was last seen at approximately 7pm on the evening of Saturday, May 25 at her home in Killina, but despite a search operation and numerous possible sightings, Teresa has not yet been found, with concern growing for her welfare. “It's been over a week since my mother Teresa Tannian went missing,” Laura said. “Despite extensive searches in Killina involving Gardaí, the Garda helicopter, drones, sniffer dogs, Civil Defence, volunteers, neighbours, friends, and family, we still haven't found her.
Gardaí and Teresa's family are concerned for her welfare and have asked anyone with any information to contact authorities, particularly guest house owners across the country, as Teresa may be staying on their premises.
