Australia Covid-19 deaths rise as Omicron peaksAustralia has recorded another surge of deaths due to Covid-19 as an outbreak of the highly contagious Omicron variant peaked, and authorities warned numbers could rise further when schools return from end-of-year holidays next week. It's hard to look at the Covid policies of Australia and New Zealand as anything other than catastrophic strategic failures. No natural immunity and using obsolete social restrictions to attempt to eradicate Omicron. Bleak outlook for them. 58 deaths in a country of over 20m is not a surge. Stop fear mongering and using these poor people as overblown and poor presented statistics for it May they rest in peace Over 50s passed away unfortunately.
