The Department of Health has confirmed 2,427 new cases of Covid-19, while there are 449 people in hospital, including 93 in ICU

There are 449 people in hospital with the coronavirus, which is down eight on yesterday.The hospital number compares to 406 patients hospitalised with Covid on this day last week and 353 people two weeks ago.

He said ICU consultants can "clearly outline the disproportionately high number of younger unvaccinated people they are treating" in hospitals. This was the highest number of daily infections reported since 21 January, when 2,608 people were confirmed to have coronavirus.

449/93 in hospital now, shall we guess how many in 3/4/5 weeks? How many will be in hospital for Christmas? Xmas could be a mess for many.

The nightmare of next week and all that freedom we shared. The Covid virus love people meeting up. Government has opened the gates to this nightmare.

If I am not wrong, back in December, with no one vaccinated, we had less or same cases in hospital & ICU as today… How, why? Don’t get it… I do not care as much on reported cases…

Am I correct in saying we still have the lowest no. of ICU beds/100,000 ppl in Europe?

We have 95 percent of the vaccinated society, 5 percent of the unvaccinated are children, and I don't think hospitals are full of children. So how many of these people took a double dose?
