Ian Bailey has said the State's decision yesterday not to appeal a High Court judgment that rejected his extradition to France is "the end of a chapter, more than the end of a book".
Mr Bailey did not make an appearance at the High Court and has denied any involvement in the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier in west Cork in 1996. Mr Bailey said he was not viewing yesterday's decision as a victory. "There are only losers in this," he told the programme. "But obviously that's not the end of it, because someone was murdered," Mr Bailey said. "It was not myself who had anything to do with it, so there are still very big questions that haven't been answered that I'm just hoping may be answered."
Their should be a public outcry for bailey to be extradited and jailed for life in France
He has the eyes of a cold-blooded murderer. But got away with it because he was aided and abetted by a willing and determined Irish judicial system.
Extradite that hat to France
