Corrie fans 'rumble' Geoff's downfall as he bribes Yasmeen in vile prison call

Coronation Street viewers think Geoff Metcalfe has shot himself in the foot with his latest move to try to manipulate wife Yasmeen Nazir.

He had been abusing her for months and was threatening to kill her with a knife at the time she snapped and stabbed him. But viewers think he made a fatal error - as all prison phone calls are recorded as standard procedure. One viewer tweeted: "Calls from prison are supposed to be recorded, but what’s the betting Geoff’s threats to Yasmeen aren’t acknowledge. #CoronationStreet.""Surely prison phone calls are recorded whatever Geoff says should be on tape hopefully it the nail in the coffin for him," added a third.
