The Chelsea star is enjoying some downtime in Ireland.

The World Cup winner with Argentina was spotted in the Greystones area of county Wicklow by eagle-eyed fans earlier on Monday much to their surprise and was more than happy to pose for a photo.

Dressed in a pair of shorts and a long-sleeved Nike top, Fernandez took a picture with a lucky fan as he strolled through the coastal Wicklow town on Monday afternoon.READ MORE:Pep Guardiola's final message to Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool boss brought up Man City charges Fernandez missed the last six games of the season after undergoing surgery on a groin injury but has been named in Argentina's squad for the Copa America later this Summer.

Fernandez moved to Chelsea from Benfica last January after starring in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He is the most expensive signing in English football history, costing The Blues a whopping €121 million.
