Two people were taken to hospital following the collision, which happened in Coolquay on Thursday, August 17 around 3.25pm.A woman aged in her 70s and a man aged in his 60s were rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.Footage seen by Dublin Live shows a man standing in front of one of the parked vehicles, before he is thrown to the ground by the force of the moving car.
A man from the second parked car gets out of it in the aftermath and approaches the car responsible for the crash. He then walks away to get help. A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardai attended the scene of a traffic collision that occurred at a commercial premises in Coolquay, Co Dublin on Thursday 17 August 2023. Investigations are ongoing."
