League of Ireland side Bohemians are in derby action on Friday night against St Patrick's Athletic.

The Bohemians defender set up ‘Dublin Street Wear’ during his time in DCU and has landed some big clients, including retail giant Brown Thomas .

“It’s a cool circle to be in alongside the football and I think it compliments the football very well. It’s going well. “It’s nice to have that balance and to be able to switch off when you need to and go back to the football when you have to.” “So I try to tell people in the dressing room how important it is while you have a platform and while you are playing in the league to use it for work or whatever down the line.“A lot of the work I’ve got has been through word of mouth and it usually relates back to someone that I know through football.

“The PFAI are really good in facilitating that, whether it’s the Sport to Start Up Programme, there’s a lot in place for footballers in their spare time if they want to apply themselves outside of football. It’s great to see.”“No, but I’ve been a model a few times,” he laughed. “Back in the day I did a few of the leisurewear launches, but I’ll leave it to the full-time professionals.”
