Aldi workers have shared what it takes to be hired at one of the supermarket's outlets in Ireland.

The secrets of the hiring process were revealed after one Irish worker asked for advice about an upcoming interview.Taking to Reddit, the person said: "Any advice on what to say in an Aldi interview?

One current Dublin staffer said: "I work for Aldi currently at the East Wall branch and I can tell you they are desperate for staff in all shops. If you keep professional and be nice they will take you on for sure."2 - Don’t ask questions that you can find out online with a bit of research yourself. They added: "In my interview, they had a couple of meetings. The first one was a group interview. They will ask you similar questions to what was on the test online. For example, a situational awareness one being in the shop and they want you to speak about it amongst each other to get an idea of what you would do.

"Take it calmly, be honest and if you have any relevant experience with manual handling, packing stock, working on tills, cleaning or customer service make sure to bring it up!" "Also if you’re till 3-4 you’ll spend most of your shift running back and forth to the till serving maybe 4-5 people and run back get your pallet and do it all again until your till is opened again. If you like fast-paced work this will suit you."
