34% Of Electricity Generated By Wind Energy Last Year

Just over a third of Irish electricity was generated by wind last year.The analysis also shows wind energy generation resulted in Irish consumers spending €2 billion less on gas last year.This included a saving of €340 million to the exchequer, which would have been spent on buying carbon credits for the gas.
