TBPS were called to an area on James Street North after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle late Thursday night.
911 dispatchers received a subsequent call about a vehicle matching the description in a parking lot on Limbrick Street, and that an individual was causing a disturbance. Police report that a local resident had asked the suspect to be quiet, in which the suspect allegedly attempted to assault them. The police news release states the suspect then drove the vehicle toward the individual, pinning them against a parked vehicle.
The suspect drove away after witnesses pursued the vehicle. When one of the witnesses chased the vehicle, the suspect allegedly assaulted that individual. She is facing several charges, including assault, theft, dangerous operation of a vehicle, failure to stop after an accident, and two counts of assault with a weapon.
