Ariana Wunderle, who grew up in a circus family, set the unofficial Guinness World Record in four\u002Dinch heels

Ariana Wunderle committed to walking back and forth across a six-foot-high tightrope 52 times in four-inch heels, smashing the previous record of just four times,Wunderle, who grew up in a circus-performing family, unofficially broke a Guinness World Record. With her father, Troy, acting as the spotter, the 18-year-old crossed the tightrope for a length of nearly 640 feet in about an hour as her peers looked on from the stands.

The high-flying act was a part of her senior project to raise money for Circus Smirkus, a non-profit youth circus based in Greensboro, Vermont. Wunderle’s family submitted the documents to Guinness World Records for formal recognition, a process that could take several months, WCAX reports.Share this article in your social network
