The average cost of gas in Canada is up about 30 cents since mid\u002DApril to more than $2 a litre

Natural Resources Canada says the average price across the country for regular gasoline hit $2.06 per litre on Monday for an all-time high.

Prices averaged about $2.34 a litre in Vancouver on Monday, while in Toronto the average was almost $2.09 per litre. Edmonton, in contrast, averaged just under $1.69 per litre. Automobile club AAA said U.S. prices at the pump rose to record highs last Friday of $4.43 per gallon for gasoline and $5.56 for diesel.

“I don’t see this resolving itself until 2023 at the earliest, when more refining capacity comes online in the Middle East and Asia,” said Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.

Incorrect number for Canada.

That’s over $8 a gallon in Canada

Isn’t this the way liberals wanted to go? Their dreams come true.

Try again. It has been $2.34 per litre since last week in Vancouver.

“Subsidized Oil and Gas companies hit record high profits while gouging Canadians.” would be a better headline. And I don’t want to hear about the 11 cents of carbon tax BS being the problem.

It’s 2.33$ a liter in Vancouver…

And for that, we should thank oil companies; per barrel cost is all time low but these monstrous refineries & owners keep increasing the prices. They keep sighting the conflicts ie Middle East, Russian but they received these barrels at least 8 months ago. Nothing but greed.

Why getting in to see a doctor is so hard in CanadaDr. Robert Bell has worked in healthcare for over 40 years, and tells us what he thinks needs to be done to make the health care system more accessible to Canadians Tax money is lost in bureaucracy. Too many chefs in the kitchen. Too many “consultant” fees which is basically money laundering. The amount we are taxed should provide more than adequately. It’s a dying shame These issues began almost 30 years ago with the beginning of the CARMS match, and med students having to choose right away to do FM or specialize. Gone were the many who would work in the community for years before going back to specialize. They filled many gaps.
