The prime minister was also asked at the time if travelling to Washington would mean he would have to self-isolate for two weeks upon return. Why would Trudeau want to been seen with the worlds biggest loser Donald Trump, when it all likely hood Trump will be voted out in November.

You mean now he’s suddenly so dedicated to an institution that he wanted to shut down a couple of months ago? You expect us to eat that fakenews bullshit? Whatever you say paidmedia Presstitutes

If he had to go to the states I wouldn’t go either. Trump is down playing how serious COVID-19 is.

My spokesperson says “I no longer give a shit. Trudeau lacks what it takes get the job done.” cdnpoli

B S, doing what he does best, coward 😡🇨🇦 JustinTrudeau

IMO, a proper decision given C-19 & its incidence in MX and the USA. Probable tho’ that this needless photo op for Der Prez will cost Canada dearly... 🤯

We don't give a fk!

Childish and ridiculous. If he’s objecting to Trump, come out and say it, don’t hide behind a lie. Even if his base hates Trump, the relationship between our countries is supposed to be much greater than the personalities in head office. We’d better hope it remains so.

The long planned?

Mind-blowing that the sock-puppet would refuse to attend the initial meeting with this country's two most important trading partners. If it weren't for the US, Canada would have NO military protection at all. Trudeau must be under house arrest. USMCAProsecuteTrudeau USMCA

This coming from a guy who avoids Parliament sittings like the plague 🙄

About time GOPJerk

Dear PM justintrudeau How's it goin', eh? FWIW, I think you made a good choice! The rest of the guys in my Parliament of Owls agree. AtB, PtH!

Wise decision for several reasons.

Is it something to do with what’s in USMCA? Is he worried he wouldn’t be able to fly back to Canada and would have to go to Gitmo instead?

Good man!

The truth is Justin has lost face abroad and in Canada. He's an embarrassment and recognizes there's nothing to gain from this photo op. He'll come up with every excuse to hide from actual pm responsibilties, then find the time to kneel in a crowded BLM protest.

Wait till the TrumpVirus is gone !!!

Good call.💯💯💯

Trudeau had no problem traveling all over Europe & Africa campaigning for his UN seat, which would do 0 for the average Canadian. The USMCA will impact all Canadians, now he decides to stay home? No pushback on Communist China’s actions, yet he makes this move?

Smart man , proud of our Prime Mininster!!❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

No worries.. Mexico can represent us..again..!!😂

Why would Trudeau want to hang out with a loser like Trump who most likely will be gone in November.

Good decision.

Good for Trudeau. Don't come and get your people sick for a photo op.

Good! No need to risk the health of so many who would have to travel with our PM to give the Dorito a photo OP which he so desperately needs.

ankle bracelets are embarrassing perhaps?

Good - why does the signing of the NAFTA agreement have to take place in the U.S.? Why not Canada or Mexico? I think the president of Mexico should also decline the invitation. Basically Trump is looking for another photo op.

Trump would have mocked Trudesu and insulted Canada.

Great!!
