Three suspects sought after armed robbery at Chestermere pharmacy

The Chestermere RCMP received a report around 1:30 p.m. that two men and one woman entered the pharmacy on Rainbow Road and brandished a small black handgun at an employee and two patrons, demanding money and drugs.

Officers say the three suspects made off with an unknown amount of narcotics and cash and fled in a black Toyota Highlander — which had been reported stolen from Calgary earlier in the day. The suspect vehicle in an armed robbery in Chestermere was captured by security cameras on Aug. 6, 2022.Neighbouring RCMP detachments of Okotoks, Airdrie and Strathmore, as well as Calgary police, are assisting Chestermere Mounties in searching for the suspects.

Police described all three suspects as dark-skinned, and each wore gloves and masks at the time of the incident. They say two men were wearing grey or dark hoodies and the woman was wearing pink pyjama bottoms. The Chestermere RCMP asks anybody with information on the suspects or the vehicle to call the detachment at 403-204-8777.
