"In the 3rd quarter of 2022, Loblaw Co reported its profits had surged 30 per cent and specifically cited high margin items like beauty products and cold medication. Prices are rising faster than inflation is rising which is driving increased corporate profits," the petition reads.

They are not going to do anything!! If you are so against what they are doing, shop somewhere else. Hit them where it will hurt them the most. Didn’t the Canadian taxpayers buy new freezers for the Loblaws grocery chains?

When a company is publicly traded on the stock market, focus is put on the shareholder and the bottom line. Weston will do just about anything to turn a profit if he can get away with it. Unfortunately customers have to pay the price for his greed.

Only jagmeet.

Loblaws is not even the most expensive. Why not Whole Foods? Investigated by and for what? So we have only 17k communists in Canada? I thought it was more than that.

Galen Weston deserves the worst

Privatized healthcare is not it. The problem is that Canadians also want a publicly funded system - postmedia and the CPC are ignoring this in favor of attempting to shape public opinion towards the privatization they intend to force down our throats regardless of popular opinion.

Why do I see price differences between stores that do not make sense ? certainly not result of supply chain; all have the same.
