Starting Monday, Brilun Construction will be on site, installing safety fencing and mobilizing materials and equipment to prepare for phase three of the Charlotte Street redevelopment. Residents and businesses have been provided notice. There will be no impacts to CBRM Transit routes.“As we enter into the third and final phase of the Charlotte Street redesign, we are seeing the wonderful impact Phases 1 and 2 are having on downtown,” said Mayor Amanda McDougall-Merrill in a press release.
“In regard to the recent construction on Charlotte Street, it is a wonderful step towards a walkable, prosperous downtown core,” said Tristin Barnes, Manager of 7 by 7 Restaurant on Charlotte Street in a CBRM issued press release.
