From the team that brought you the Cozey couch

Just like Cozey couches, Nook offers modular sofas, meaning they can grow or shrink with your space. The main differences between the two sofas are the manufacturing and price. Cozey prioritizes cost and Nook focuses on local quality. A three-seater Cozey couch costs $1,095 while Nook’s starts at $2,470.

Right now, the Nook’s sofas come in seven colours, three are made from highest grade Italian leather and four from durable cool-coloured fabric. You can and be immediately impressed with how quickly they’re delivered. The frame of the sofa is made from hardwood and Baltic birch and anti-sag hardened steel springs.Article contentand pick the configuration of your sofa. But, of course, the charming factor of a modular sofa is that you can always add or reconfigure it down the road.

We haven’t tried building the Nook sofa yet, but know it’s pretty identical to the Cozey experience and therefore it’s straightforward. Each module of the sofa comes in its own box and all of the materials you need for assembly are INSIDE the seat . Nook sofas are built just outside of Montreal, Que. According to Frédéric Aubé, founder and CEO of both Cozey and Nook, the intention was always to produce a modular sofa that focuses on local artisanship, but cost and other logistical factors led to overseas manufacturing, which led to the creation of the Cozey brand). Nook now fulfills that original intention of local artisanal materials and production.

Opinion | Canada can do more to help Ukrainian refugeesOpinion: The federal government needs to provide the framework and resources to support Ukrainian refugees. Our government needs to demonstrate that it truly stands with Ukraine. Not in word but in deed. ⬇️⬇️ Yes. We take in thousands of immigrants and refugees every year, so it’s puzzling that the processes are still so haphazard, & so dependent on random churches and community groups to find sponsors and provide the support they need to get settled. Why no central organization? Go to the nearest safe country
