In December, Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau communicated with agriculture organizations including the Canadian Horticultural Council and the Canadian Cattlemens’ Association, to discuss supply chain issues and climate change.

A supply chain crisis exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, and setting the groundwork in advance of this year’s federal budget, were among the major concerns of organizations representing the agriculture sector during one of the most advocacy-heavy Decembers on record.Enjoy unlimited website access and the digital newspaper.
