Statistics Canada reports manufacturing sales climbed a record 20.7 per cent in June to $48.7 billion as production returned following widespread shutdowns earlier in the year.

Economists on average had expected an increase of 16.4 per cent for June, according to financial markets data firm Refinitiv.

Manufacturing and resource development is the only thing that will save Canada.

A record gain, not record sales. Any growth of the economy only appears noteworthy when measured from when it was in the sewer up to when it achieved the level of the gutter. Being the healthiest looking horse in the glue factory is nothing to brag about.
