Durham police are looking for a man after a another was sprayed with an unknown substance during a cell phone robbery.
Tuesday, around 8 p.m., the victim had met with another man in the area of Sewell Crescent and Tampsett Avenue in Ajax. The victim had listed an iPhone for sale on Facebook Marketplace and agreed to meet the suspect in a residential neighbourhood. Police say as the suspect was inspecting the phone, he sprayed the victim with an unknown substance and ran.The suspect is described as: male, Black 20-25 years-old, approximately 6’2″ tall, with short curly black hair, and a slim build. He was wearing a blue mask, black bomber jacket, black hoodie sweater, and black jogging pants.
