Sask Go to India you will have servers in around 10K$ with much better dr. And success rate

Sask My bone doctor did nothing to help my broken collar bone, sent me home in my makeshift hockey jersey sling, took him 2 weeks and 2 follow up visits to offer me painkillers, when I declined he got upset. He had me visit 8 more times. Probably billed OHIP $20k. Broken system. SMH.

Sask That is the result of freedom denied

Sask I waited three years for back surgery in Ontario after I was hit by a car. That was under the previous Liberal government. This kind of thing has been rampant across Canada for decades. Let's not pretend it's new.

Sask The foundational story to this story is as follows: The SK Party has purposefully UNDERINVESTED in health care so they can break public health and implement privatized health care for the profit of the few. A disaster and a dereliction of duty

Sask Where are the surgeons and nurses coming from to do these third party publicly funded procedures?

Sask With the cuts Doug Ford has planned for healthcare, this will be the norm. OHIP VoteFordOutJune2

Sask I guess alberta is just better

Sask Cost in Thailand: 287,000 baht ($11K CAD)

If she was transitioning she could have had chest surgery within a week for free Priorities

hmmm. And where do you think the doctors in private clinics come from? Thin air?

There should be reciprocal arrangements across all provinces.

I have been waiting 8 years in Alberta. Booked in December in Mexico. Tired of waiting.

Sask Party needs to pull up it's socks and correct the health care problems/destruction in Saskatchewan.

I did the same for my hip..I always lived up to my obligation but when it came time i needed them I had to pay for it myself out of province..Alberta’s healthcare system is broken

Hey cbc why don't you donate all that money the blackfacedhitler gave you. DEFUNDCBC

The days of patting ourselves on the back for our “free” health care need to be over. I’m done with “free” I want quality health care for all. Enough of this no frills shit fix it!!!

That's nice and NO , We are NOT going to Privatize Healthcare.

I've been waiting many months to get real help through Fraserhealth for excruciating head pain/agony that I'm forced to endure daily. No one should ever have to live with something like this, the system is broken here. Maybe there's another option for some real relief.

FakeNewsCBC any new fake news today?

Meanwhile, residents of Alberta wait …..

Ugh, this is the plan isn't it. Defund health care so much that we have to privatize it...God damn government.

The conservatives are doing their best to destroy our public healthcare! I guess conservative voter feel that “culture wars” are more important to win than have a strong public healthcare system!

Unfortunately, this is the situation across the entire country. Private health care may, ultimately, be the only solution…nlpoli

Sickening that we have a 2 tiered health care system now. The rich should NOT have better or faster access to treatment in Canada!! This is beyond infuriating and needs to be stopped NOW

It’s almost like nurses and doctors said that letting COVID rip was a problem, taking surgical resources and using them on COVID patients for 4 waves. Send your bill to Scott Moe.

Glad she has the money and it's people like her that will turn our system to private health care

Hmm if only we could somehow invest in our health care🤔

Outrageous. Sadly Saskatchewan Health Authority did not allow orthopaedic surgeons to operate at Day Surgery Centres in Saskatoon during COVID. People who work in Operating Rooms are familiar with infection control.....literally pathetic.

would have been $5,000 in Colombia

Surgical tourism within our own country FFS

Are we advocating for two-tier out in the open now?

You're not the only one.

Give 3PMoe the province is responsible for healthcare .
