Reggie Jackson reportedly plans to join Clippers once buyout from Pistons is complete.

Jackson, who was in the final year of a five-year, $80-million contract he signed with the Pistons in 2015, has averaged 14.5 points and 5.1 assists per game in 14 appearances for Detroit so far this season.

The 29-year-old has missed significant time due to injury this year, but did start the Pistons’ final six games heading into the All-Star break and had three 20-point or better performances during that stretch. Jackson will likely take on a reduced role with the Clippers, offering some size in their backcourt and scoring off the bench, joining a Western Conference contender led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George that also added Marcus Morris at the trade deadline.
