• This is apropos of nothing other than it’s a bit of a gut feeling … but, man, unless he steals a round in the playoffs, I can sure see the Toronto Maple Leafs moving on from Frederik Andersen this off-season, can’t you? You’re already starting to hear whispers from the weeds that he needs to be pushed to, um, keep his interest up and that’s usually the start of the end …

• It’s good to have the Vancouver Canucks back again, isn’t it? You can tell when they’re relevant because of the whining from their fanbase. It’s why everybody outside of B.C. cheered for the Chicago Blackhawks in those epic series against the Canucks, who frequently claimed they were victimized by broadcasters, referees, the schedule-maker, Gary Bettman — whomever. Now, it’s the need for special on-ice treatment for Elias Pettersson … that he gets treated like a star. Ugh.

SNJeffBlair This is a way bigger issue because the integrity of the game was tarnished by this, forget the players, what about the kids watching it all, the teams that will try to do this in other leagues. Or the people that lost money on bets? Like it’s a whole bunch of things to consider
