Bennet condemns 'disgusting' RCMP interrogation of youth reporting sex assaultMinister of Crown-Indigenous Relations Carolyn Bennett is condemning a newly-released video that shows a Kelowna RCMP officer questioning an under-aged Indigenous teen who was reporting a sexual assault, asking her questions such as 'were you turned on during this at all, even a little bit?' The cop should be fired. This not isolated, the RCMP do not treat everyone equally. They lay charges based on who the complainant and the alleged victim are. Not on the evidence. This includes physical assaults, which was my own personal experience. rcmpgrcpolice

MPs condemn 'disgusting' RCMP interrogation of youth reporting sex assaultMPs on both sides of the House of Commons are condemning a newly-released video that shows a Kelowna RCMP officer questioning an under-aged Indigenous teen who was reporting a sexual assault, asking her questions such as 'were you turned on during this at all, even a little bit?' TYPICAL COPS NO MORALS This is what police do. I will never speak to a cop without a lawyer even if I witness something that can help them. It should be law that a lawyer be present when being interrogated. No lawyer, no talking. This is just another sickening example of why women don’t report this kind of crime against them. This officer should be fired immediately and then change the method of investigation. This is the most degrading thing I have ever seen.
