Police say the vehicle was recovered abandoned at the Elk Rodeo Grounds in High Prairie with several firearms inside, and that they believed three suspects fled to JayCee Park.At about 4 a.m., RCMP e-mailed a news release that there was an “active police event” under way in High Prairie and that people should avoid the northwest part of the community, specifically the park and the rodeo grounds.
