LONDON — Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have decided not to use the word “royal” in their branding after they start a new life in Canada.
The couple agreed last month with Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, that they would no longer work as royals after their surprise announcement that they wanted to carve out a “progressive new role” which they hope to finance themselves. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘SussexRoyal’ in any territory post Spring 2020.”
Their website is named sussexroyal.com and they applied to trademark the phrases Sussex Royal and Sussex Royal Foundation for use on books, stationery, clothing such as pajamas and socks, charity campaigns and the provision of training, sport and social care.
I've heard they can continue to drink the Sussex brand ginger ale though so all is not lost.
So in the spring when they are no longer official senior that means Canada will be off the hook for security cost toward a private visitor right?
Oh God!! Who cares!!!!!! Be jahanam!!
And this is newsworthy why?
It's not a fucking brand! Stop calling it a brand. A brand is something you write on a pop bottle or burn into the hide of a cow FFS.
Get up to speed- this is last week’s news.
harry and his tree swinger .
I love it, we’re clearly all on the same page here and I am sure most Canadians feel the same way but the keeps promoting such irrelevant news
Dudes gonna wake up one day and say...What the fook did I do?
The title of this article should be. Commoner Harry and his wife will stop using Sussex Royal brand for there self-righteousness.
Who Cares? Lets move on.
Will they stop leeching off the Canadian government and pay for their own security too?
Big deal. Doesn't effect Canada, nor us. Whoopie-do-duh. Can we move along now please? 🤔
I am incapable of finding something that I would care less for.
Oh gosh! I will never forget where I was when I heard the news!!
