Oh he’s not out - he’s going to make a huge contribution to a McKenney victory by siphoning off just enough centrist votes to make sure the one viable common-sense candidate doesn’t win…. Huge contribution!

Fare freeze raised on campaign trailOttawa mayoral candidates debate whether Ottawa transit riders deserve a fare freeze on OC Transpo. CTV’s Leah Larocque reports. OC Transpo is a boondoggle money pity that technology cannot fix. We have a plethora of administrators on the municipal payroll, so let’s see them administer a fix. Providing a service that works is number one. I used to be able to get from Orleans to Kanata on the 99, and it took about an hour going down the 174 / 417 now the same trip can take 1.5 hours to IKEA and 2.5 to Tanger Outlets. OC just wants more money for poor service. Transit riders want a fair deal, not a fare freeze. Focus on reliable, more expedient and improved local transit.
