Oh he’s not out - he’s going to make a huge contribution to a McKenney victory by siphoning off just enough centrist votes to make sure the one viable common-sense candidate doesn’t win…. Huge contribution!

Denley: Why Bob Chiarelli may be handing Ottawa's mayoralty to McKenneyThe former mayor has decades of political experience, but he\u0027s splitting the vote among more fiscally conservative Ottawans. Shocker: Randall Denley who is a vocal supporter of Mark Sutcliffe and a twice loser to Bob Chiarelli is blaming Chiarelli for entering the race first and having Sutcliffe split the Center. Why post this obvious crap Yes, this is the perfect storm. Chirelli’s taking votes from better candidates allowing the Horizon forces to push the fifth best option into the Mayor’s seat. I’m considering truly greener pastures away from her meddling nonsense. A Mckenney win will be devastating for Ottawa.

Fare freeze raised on campaign trailOttawa mayoral candidates debate whether Ottawa transit riders deserve a fare freeze on OC Transpo. CTV’s Leah Larocque reports. OC Transpo is a boondoggle money pity that technology cannot fix. We have a plethora of administrators on the municipal payroll, so let’s see them administer a fix. Providing a service that works is number one. I used to be able to get from Orleans to Kanata on the 99, and it took about an hour going down the 174 / 417 now the same trip can take 1.5 hours to IKEA and 2.5 to Tanger Outlets. OC just wants more money for poor service. Transit riders want a fair deal, not a fare freeze. Focus on reliable, more expedient and improved local transit.
