Matthew MacLeod has been playing for the St. FX men's rugby team this year. He credits his start in Pictou County for getting him where he is.Matthew MacLeod is just getting started.
This was an important step, because the 2021-2022 rugby season was after two years of inactivity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Much of the previous team had graduated, and the current team was full of inexperienced players. MacLeod is always quick to deflect praise and point to the ones that went before that acted as his role models and examples.
"This prepared me the most for university play," MacLeod said."The PCL is very competitive with a high level of skill."
