Steven Fletcher, a former Tory, has re-purposed his old Conservative campaign signs even though he’s now running for Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada.

Published Friday, October 11, 2019 10:00PM EDTWINNIPEG -- Two candidates from two different parties are vying for votes with similar blue campaign signs in a west Winnipeg riding, but only one of them is running for the Conservatives.

The Conservative Party association in the riding of Charleswood-St. James-Assiniboia-Headingley wants the CPC signs back – a legal demand that will take months to sort out, with the federal election in just 10 days. The Conservative candidate in the riding, Marty Morantz, said he’s focusing on what’s within his “control,” which is “going door-to-door and talking to folks.”

Awesome! There not gonna win. But good on them

It probably has nothing to do with recycling or reusing as much as how to save money. Lol

They are all same anyway

Thought we’re in a climate emergency and should be saving the 🌲, and reduce reuse and recycle ♻️

Lol!

Thrifty

That's cool! Works on every level. We are ALL looking at it, talking about it. And finally, lots if us are checking out the PPC platform for ourselves.

Nobody point out to him that reuse is good for the environment. He’s probably stop doing it.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. It has been drummed into our heads and now we are criticized for it?

very environmentally conscience i say

For a club of climate-change deniers, it's a wonderful lesson in reduce, reuse and recycle!

These look like straight up garbage!

StevenFraudster

Wow... you guys are retweeting the crap out of this one. A double attack ad. No bias there. So, this is the leftist media strategy. You guys do this crap and CBC files lawsuits against Conservatives. IT'S NOT WORKING. it's having the opposite effect. HACKS

People's party, there to say publicly what the Progressive Reform Alliance Party is thinking privately... JustinTrudeau liberal_party

Hahaha!

Now that's an actual awesome recycling idea.

I'd call that recycling

Seriously PPC members. I respect what your trying to do as a movement but enough is enough. Fed parties are NOT thrown together in 12 month, 338 GOOD candidate can't be found in 12 months.ONLY 1 RIDING VOTES FOR MAX. End this sad campaign. Regroup, plan more.Try again in 4 years

Did you think starting a grassroots movement was easy?

Great example of the middle 'R' Reduce Reuse Recycle

And they say conservatives don't care about the environment...

Sure it looks tacky and a bit unprofessional but at least this dude is reducing and reusing. Points for that at least.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Good on him!

Here is a story for you CTV.. how fast are you hiding from this one? Remember all those times you tried to make her like like a victim?

So recycling is a bad thing now?

Looks like thats the old reduce reuse recycle plan. Elizabeth may should take note

Recycle, reuse is a good plan!

😂😂

Cost saving measure plus not wasting paper.

Hey, he’s recycling; I’m okay with it!

Shouldn't the noble, high-and-mighty environmentalists on the Left be wholly supportive of this?

This speaks to me as recycling, frugality and responsibility. Many such as myself can relate to these things because of necessity. Looks good to me. They have my vote and by the looks of the comments, many others as well

Frugality

Waste not, want not. lol

This is the greenest thing I’ve seen from any party.

Smart

Greens should love this.

How ingenious 😜 reducing carbon footprint by recycling... Just fantastic & impressive!!!!! 👏👍🙌 PPC2019AllTheWay elxn43 cdnpoli

Holy cow. All he needed to do was find someone with the most basic knowledge of Photoshop to fix that.

And?

badass, good job!

Who says the PPC doesn't have an environmental platform! Also check out Stephen Woodworth in Kitchener Centre reusing his signs from 8 years ago that say reelect. He's not even the incumbent.

Fiscal responsibility...lol.

Cool they are they only party who actually know how yo recycle

Nothing news

my that is very tacky and unprofessional, good luck getting votes bud....

He is polling at 12% so no worry.

But... whats wrong with this? Using the limited resources you have to promote yourself is now a bad thing? Not receiving huge sums of money to buy new flashy signs is a bad thing? Well, I guess we now know how CTV feels about the government media bailout.

CTV could have spun this as a positive, but no, takes every opportunity to negatively narrate it. CTV needs to clean house and try and save itself. Management must be nonexistent to not see this opportunity. So sad to see.

So he’s recycling

To confuse voters.

Recycling!

Now that is environmental stewardship from Fletcher that drunkard terrorist supporter ElizabethMay wouldn’t do driving around in the Tesla. elxn43 cdnpoli

But that's not news...come on ctv.

Hey whatever works...👍

“It’s environmentally friendly. Why do they hate recycling?” lol HonSFletcher

Dropped candidate Heather Leung’s name appears on Conservative signs, will appear on Burnaby ballot for partyCampaign manager for candidate, who is running ‘independently’ after being ousted for comments about LGBTQ community, says Ms. Leung’s dismissal came after deadline for changes Perhaps Ms. Leung's language may be quite harsh but it may be that she does not mean to harm as Svend Robinson suggests as LGBTQ people are behavioural where people should have a right to agree with or not agree with and certainly not be a public concern as it is highly private.. And she should. Every Canadian has the right to run. If party affiliation is key, they won't vote for her. If her views on conversion therapy techniques which are are sick and tantamount to torture are key, I hope they won't vote for her, or any other candidate with such views. Isn't this equivalent to Election Fraud? The ballot will have a candidate listed who is not actually running for the party to which she claims to be associated. Her advertising is false showing association with a party from which she was ousted. vote Election2019

CBC sues the Conservative party over copyright, ‘moral rights’ of journalistsThe CBC excerpts — which included video taken at this week’s English-language leaders debate — were used on a party website and on Twitter liberal propaganda wing, the cbc, sues conservative party for attempting to win election against them. 'Liberal-funded media arm sues the opposition party.' Can we sue CBC for failing to be accurate, truthfull and unbiased when reporting the news that taxpayers pay for? They have misrepresented the CPC_HQ and shown a bias to the liberal_party through this entire election. That's not what Canadians paid for. CBC = disinformation

Party leaders dish baloney in French-language debateThe six federal party leaders used the last televised debate of the campaign Thursday to make their pitches to voters. Along the way, they each made assertions with varying degrees of accuracy. Really do not want to vote for any of these people but have to make a hard dicision and not voting is not an option for me. Geeee the conservative hear sound like Democrats in the states with Hillary . The just will not admit that they pick the wrong candidate . The election should be a cake walk for the Conservatives.
