At the Commonwealth Games, Taylor, who is a graduate of Three Oaks High School in Summerside, defeated Sophia Ayieta of Kenya by fall in the bronze-medal match. She also competed with Team Canada at the Spanish Grand Prix in July and attended a five-day camp in Madrid that featured athletes from throughout the world.Taylor lives in St. Catharines, Ont., and trains with the Brock Wrestling Club.
