The average price for a home in Oshawa was $765,039 in July 2022, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. That’s down 6.1 per cent or $49,596 from June 2022 and down 2.5 per cent or $19,416 compared to July 2021.

Detached houses averaged $815,583, down 7.9 per cent or $70,094 month-over-month and down 7.5 per cent or $66,513 year-over-year. There were 148 detached house sales after an average of 14 days on the market and 218 active listings at the end of the month. Attached houses averaged $747,071, down 0.9 per cent or $7,016 month-over-month but up 5 per cent or $35,600 year-over-year. There were 14 attached house sales after an average of 17 days on the market and 34 active listings at the end of the month.
