TORONTO — A former Progressive Conservative lawmaker who quit the government caucus to protest cuts to francophone services is joining the Ontario Liberal Party. Amanda Simard made the announcement today at the Ontario legislature with the party’s interim leader John Fraser. Simard was elected in 2018 at the age of 29 to represent the largely French-speaking eastern Ontario riding of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell.

We need to change the laws. Any mpp that wants to go to another party or be independent after an election should vacate and a new election called.

I was trying to brain storm a way to express my thoughts .. And .. Bingo ! ....

Liberals and Conservatives are basically interchangeable on 95% of all given matters

I’ve always thought that if you make the personal choice to switch parties, you should resign and run for the new party in an election. It disregards how the people voted in that riding.

They can still all fit in one van 😂
