Nova Scotia's Jacob Quillan signs contract with Toronto Maple Leafs

The 22-year-old centre from Dartmouth signed a two-year contract with the Leafs on Monday. It's an entry level deal with an an average annual salary of $875,000 at the NHL level.

He had 46 points in 39 games this year after putting up 38 points in 41 games in 2022-24. Quillan's three-year college totals 38 goals and 55 assists in 116 games but he is best known for his exceptional two-way play. He was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference defensive forward of the year this season.
