No budget yet for Trudeau’s pledge to plant two billion more trees by 2030

Trudeau pledged a year ago that the government would plant two billion more trees by 2030, or about 200 million extra trees per year. MacNeil told the House of Commons natural resources committee Friday that the service is still waiting to be given a budget.

He only said it because the NDP did it first...so he’s likely already forgot

I used to tree plant. $0.10/tree for moderate terrain in northern B.C. I’d say $2/tree all in cost . $4 billion total program

trudeau simply PAY FARMERS a FAIR amount to take 1% of our most unproductive acres out of production, get out of the way, trees will be in ground quickly. Trees WILL be planted for future selective harvest & sustainable forest. No political bs talk, just action! Lianne_Rood
