Halifax Regional Police went to the store at 3430 Joseph Howe Drive just before midnight on Good Friday after they were called about a robbery. When a woman left the store with merchandise she hadn’t paid for, staff approached her and asked her to turn it over. In a release, police say the woman “produced a needle and began to thrust it the staff in a stabbing motion.”The suspect is described as being white, approximately 5’6” in height, 25-30 years of age, with a thin build and shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair. She was wearing a black Nike baseball cap, a black jacket and black shirt, blue jeans and thick-rimmed glasses.
