MPP Lisa MacLeod under police protection in Ottawa after 'threatening' emails and 'unexplained mischievous incident'

“Following an interview with CFRA on harassment faced by female politicians, Minister MacLeod will once again receive police protection in Ottawa due to threatening emails and an unexplained mischievous incident to her personal vehicle in Ottawa,” Rowland said. “The OPS has protocols with both RCMP and OPP to support their operations on all such matters,” Const. In a statement Thursday, Dudas said she would not be deterred by the act of vandalism at her house and voiced her support for both McKenna and MacLeod. Years of “interpreting” laws differently for different people has created loop holes. But let’s knee jerk create new laws that won’t be adhered to just so it looks like something is being done. Do the crime do the time! Quit letting people shirk responsibility for their actions.
