The new data shows that WE spoke to government officials, political staffers, and even three ministers on a variety of topics a total of 21 times between January 29 and May 5, 2020

This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. The program promised to pay eligible students up to $5,000 for volunteer hours done over the summer. The CSSG was originally outsourced to WE in June, who pulled out of the deal one week later amidst growing controversy about the prime minister’s close ties to the organization.

Lobbying records also show the extent to which WE communicated with Rachel Wernick, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister at Employment and Social Development Canada , who oversaw the Canada Student Service Grant. Lobbying records show 21 communications by WE between April 24 and July 5. WE also had at least eight communications with Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s senior policy advisor, Amitpal Singh. All but two of those communications occurred before the CSSG contribution agreement came into effect in early May.

The rise of the non-profit industrial complex.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Are politicians suppose to list which lobbyist have met with them?

I see the National Compost has stopped calling it a billion dollar program about two weeks after they knew better.

donkeychucker Keep digging, much more to find. Scam artists, both Keilburgers, Trudeau and his flunkies

WE... inexperienced? Slimy and greedy?, or maybe just too gullible. One things for sure when you jump in bed with JT the f%^*k you’re getting is nothing compared to the f%^*ing your going to get.

But they weren’t registered as lobbyists. Isnt that illegal grcrcmppolice ?

The TrudeauCorruption gift that keeps on giving

So never were registered. Just pals with Trudeau.

So both they and the Liberals have broken the law

Bloody crooks and all under the guise of helping young ppl. I detest charities that take more than 5% on admin fees unless infrastructure is built. The next group I can't stand are those saying we are here for the people...Trudeau needs to resign

We have a spoiled brat leading the Liberals, a spoiled adult leading the Conservatives, an NDP which cannot seem to get their costing right and the Greens who are trying to be taken seriously 🤦🏾‍♂️ let’s focus more on Ottawa & less on Washington

They were required to register within two months of the lobbying activity or face the consequences set out in the Lobbying Act. What consequences would they be, you ask? A fine of $50,000 to $200,000 or imprisonment up to two years. cdnpoli wecharity wescandal trudeau

The WE brothers are turning out to be very shady and slimy. Feels like the end of their hyped up empire. Does anyone know how much money the brothers have pocketed over the past few years? The number would no doubt shock their generous donors.

And they were not registered to lobby. Watch dumb downed lefties say 'nothing to see here'.

Tellement surpris

Forgot to mention they did so in secret.

When did $900 million become $543 million?

And how many times did the United Way or the Red Cross lobby the federal government during the same time period?
