According to the poll, 59 per cent of Canadians were worried that someone in their family would get sick from the coronavirus

A majority of Canadians, particularly those in Ontario, B.C. and Quebec are worried about a widespread outbreak of COVID-19 in cities that they live in, according to an exclusive new poll commissioned by research and analytics company Leger Marketing.

The Prairie provinces showed the lowest level of concern about the virus, according to the poll, which still sat at approximately 50 per cent. “Even before things escalated, the poll showed that concern amongst Canadians about coronavirus was high,” said Jack Jedwab, President of the Association for Canadian Studies.

“Is that the best messaging given you could put somebody at risk and be a carrier yourself? I’m not too sure,” he added. On Thursday, ahead of the peak March break travel season. the Canadian government warned Canadians against any kind of international travel, though no travel bans or border closings have been officially implemented to date. Over the weekend, the federal government urged Canadians who were already abroad, to come back immediately, while commercial flights remained available.

what kind of stupid poll is this? who wouldn’t worry about it...

They should never have voted the incompetent liberals again

Wow, great investigative journalism. Gee, yes we are worried. Now how about doing some REAL digging, e.g., 1. How many of the victims came from abroad? 2. From which countries? 3. How old are they? 4. Is there a pattern, a trend?

🔥 PanicButtonMeltdown 🔥

and this is surprising...?

Another 'stating the obvious' headline from Fox Post.

Backwards Saskatchewan and Alberta not concerned. They should be!

How could they not be. The media and the politicians everywhere are mishandling it. People relax

Ya think?

Justin's handling of the situation has been extraordinarily pathetic.

Majority of media in Canada are fear mongering.

Well then you've done your job, haven't you?
