On Saturday, the company said it is continuing to work with third-party cybersecurity experts to bring its operations back online. “The impact of the incident on operations has been significant, and the restoration process is rigorous. There are billions of lines of data and code to review,” the company said in a statement on May 4.
“Our teams have been working around the clock and we are seeing progress in our restoration. Our priority is to ensure we bring our operations and services back up in a secure, systematic way, so that we can offer to our customers the level of care they expect from London Drugs.” The company says there is no evidence at this point in the investigation that any customer databases were compromised, including pharmacy patients and LDExtras members.Sign up for the CHEK Now daily email newsletter to get breaking news and the day's top stories sent to your email.All of London Drugs 80 stores closed on April 28 due to the cybersecurity incident. The stores all remained closed until May 4, when some started reopening.
