THUNDER BAY – Kaministiquia’s rubber duck population will raise by roughly 3,000 on May 4 during the return of the Kam River Ultimate Duck Race.
There are roughly 3,000 ducks to be purchased up until May 4. The ducks will be raced down the Kaministiquia River, with the owner of the lucky duck that crosses the finish line first winning $10,000. Second through fourth place also receive a cash prize.
